Territory Management for JW

Territory Management

Our history

Multi-Terr started in 2006 as a free desktop application, at a time where internet access was limited (not to mention painfully slow). The main objective was and continues to be, a way to facilitate the exchange of information between congregations, especially in large metropolitan areas having multiple languages, as well as to allow the congregations to adapt the application to their specific needs worldwide.  Multi-Terr continues to develop tools to assist congregations in managing their territories. Multi-Terr has continued to grow and integrate newer technology and updating Multi-Terr as these newer technologies are released. Bringing us to the point where we are now a full online territory management application. One thing that has not changed since Multi-Terr's inception is the principle found in Matthew 10:8; "You received free, give free".

Features

There are too many features to list in this section, here are some of them. Please feel free to reach out for additional available features.
Note: You may collapse a section by clicking on the header.

  Available in multiple languages

Available in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Korean, Vietnamese and Portuguese.(English, Français, Español, Italiano, 한국어, Tiếng Việt, Português)

  No login/password required for publishers

Publishers are not required to enter a login or password. They can access the information either by scanning the QR code on the printed house-to-house records or by clicking the link in the email that was automatically sent when the territory was assigned. Note: Once the territory is returned, the QR code and email link can be disabled.

  Adapting layouts

The screen layouts used by the publishers automatically adapt based on the territory type; for example: phone, letter, and house-to-house territories will be displayed on the screen differently, as the pertinent information differs.

  Navigation tools

A button to display the closest address based on your current location is displayed for the publishers. Especially useful for congregations covering large areas where addresses may be far apart.

 Maps

You may choose between Google, Bing or Here maps, each with the following features

  • Create your own labels to be displayed on the map
  • Clicking on a pin displays additional information about an address, as well as directions from your current location
  • Pins are different colors if the householder was found home
  • Your current location "You are here" pin is displayed

  Distributing territories

The application offers flexible ways to distribute territories according to your congregation needs. For example: You may print the territories ahead of time, download a PDF or just use the website. You may assign the territory to another publisher without having to return the territory, therefore not affecting the S-13

  Territory coverage

Various tools are provided to analyze territory coverage and assist in directing the work where most needed.

  Import

When migrating or entering a large amount of information, the ability to import can tremendously ease the process. The following information can be imported:

  • Congregations boundaries: The KML/KMZ file provided by the branch, which contains your congregation boundaries may be imported.
  • Addresses: Addresses and their associated information using an Excel template.
  • Maps: Territory maps may be imported using an Excel template (territory number, latitude, longitude).
  • Publishers: Publisher information may be imported using an Excel template (name, phone number and email address).

  Backups

Each congregation has their own dedicated database and these are automatically backed up daily. In addition, the application allows to export all your data in csv file format (which can be opened with Excel or any other spreadsheet application)
